Terrified terrorists?

Courtesy of a link from reader Snoggeramus, I couldn't help but chuckle at this report.

A crocodile lurking in the sewers has been terrorizing locals in [a] small city in the northern Gaza Strip, according to a report.

Rajab al-Ankah, head of the Northern Gaza Sewage Station in Beit Lahia, said the five-and-a-half foot sewer croc most likely escaped from a nearby zoo as a baby and has avoided capture for more than two years, Al Arabiya news reported.

. . .

Locals in Beit Lahia ... said the croc slaughtered a farmer’s two goats that were grazing too close to the sewers.

The beast slips out of the sewage basins to hunt for food, and scurries back underground, evading captors, Ankah said.

There's more at the link.

I certainly feel sympathy for the local residents;  but given that the Hamas government of Gaza is as terrorist an organization as exists anywhere in the world, I can only consider it highly appropriate that there's now a creature-in-residence to terrify them!  I wonder how serious a mistake has to be before the official making it gets 'volunteered' to go catch the croc?
